Mission Evolve Music Fest | 4th – 6th October 2013

Mission Evolve Music Fest is a celebration of life, focussing on creating a platform for artistic expression, nurtured in a vibrant, inspiring, peaceful environment where we all come together and celebrate the awesome creative energy Far North QLD has to offer!

MEMF is not exclusive to music & open to all mediums of artistic expression. The event encompasses everything from live music, DJ’s, workshops, sculpture, percussion, roaming performance and circus spaces to market stalls and delicious food. Set in the lush tropical forests of Dundee Pk, Mission Beach, this is a family friendly event with camping available throughout the weekend.

This year’s festival will boast 3 stages, the 2 main alternating stages as well as the ‘Evolving Stage’. This 3rd stage is for anyone and everyone to get up a have a go. There will be chalk boards, showcases as well as improvised jams! So be sure to bring your instrument, talent & enthusiasm!

Songwriters Showcase. Each year we kick off Saturday morning with a showcase of FNQ's talented songwriters. We encourage songwriters to register before the day to perform 2 or 3 original tunes, though if there is space left we will take registrations on the day. Tickets to the festival still need to be purchased for those wishing to be a part of the showcase.

Performer applications now open!

The Mission Evolve Music Fest is benefiting from funding received under the Events Queensland Regional Development Program (EQRDP)

The EQRDP is an investment program designed to extend the flow of economic and social benefits of events to regional Queensland.

A state-wide initiative, the program is committed to enhancing existing events in regional Queensland, as well as assisting in the establishment of new events.

Since the EQRDP began in 2001, more than $17.5 million has been invested in 815 regional events, an indicator of the important role these events play in their communities and wider Queensland.
